She also experienced the bright lights of a broadcast shoot.  Because our other visitors included the broadcast camera crew.  So, we smartened up the office a bit and put some nice new posters on the wall too.  Natalie started work on her website, but that’s not the end of her starring role.  Later this week she’s going to be filmed again as she forms a team of young people to go head-to-head in a cultural quiz with some slightly older (and wiser?) competitors.  And the chairman for this unique quiz is going to be one Richard Bath, the lovely Westcountry presenter.  He also paid us a visit today… meeting the team behind the scenes including Kate – one of our new young people’s co-ordinators.  Kate is looking after people in the West and Westcountry.  And she’s working very hard on getting things sorted for our launch in the Westcountry at the end of the month.  So, all the focus now is on preparing for half term week when we have a week of news items on Westcountry and four monthly update films in our other regions.  There’s masses going on and it’s time I started planning some stories for ITV Local and our e-bulletin.  My creative resources team are busy filming tomorrow and Friday this week. Tomorrow is an interesting fix all about combatting loneliness.  Friday is the tough subject of staying on the right side of the law – with some fixers who know what it’s like from the other side.  Loads to do to get permissions for that one. But it’s going to be great if it all comes together.  Watch this space…
